1973 Tonka Toys Look Book Style A

While Toby was digging in, Tonka continued to add new models and the 1973 Tonka Toys Look Books highlighted this achievement. Only a sampling of models carried over from 1972 are featured in the 1973 Look Book. However, all new for 1973 models made it to the pages of the mini catalog. It is not known if the "Toby Digs In" and "Toby and Smokey" Look Books were used interchangeably during the same time period or used one following the other.

New for 1973 series were the Tonka Gigglers, Toddlers, Smokey Bear Sets, Action Toys and Assembly Line Kits. New for 1973 models added to the Tiny series were model 685 Tractor Trailer, 788 Banana Wheeler and model 800 Minnie Winnie Camper. Added to the Mini series were models 1095 Road Paver and 1099 Crane Truck. Model 2710 Tractor and Wagon was new to the Regular series and model 3885 Mighty Winnebago was added to the Mighty series.
